Established by the Sovereign Ordinance of 15 March 1858 and modified three times: on 16 January 1863, 2 November 1953 and 23 December 1966. This order rewards merit and services to the State or Prince. The order has five classes: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
