The Motherhood Medal was a Soviet civilian award commemorating mothers with a substantial number of children, created on 8 July 1944.
The medal was divided into two classes.
It was conferred to:
- First class: mothers bearing and raising six children.
- Second class: mothers bearing and raising five children.
